To celebrate its 10th anniversary Nundle Business Tourism and Marketing Group Inc has launched a Nundle and Hanging Rock NSW art print and postcard inspired by vintage travel posters.

NBTMG Inc commissioned me to design an artwork capturing the natural beauty of landmark rock outcrop, The Hanging Rock.

I’ve grown up looking at The Hanging Rock in all weathers, to me it is iconic of the ridge line and valley of Nundle and Hanging Rock. It has a long history of being a guiding landmark, I know when I see it, I’m home.

The process involved numerous excursions into the countryside to take pictures and watch the sunset reflecting on the ridge line and The Hanging Rock. I did several small painting studies before completing a final larger acrylic painting and digitising the artwork to add the final graphic elements.
